Setup & Collecting Links
- Download everything listed above.
- Go to the target YouTube channel → open the Videos tab → scroll to the bottom until all videos load.
- Open the Link Grabber extension:
- Select Page
- Click Grab All!
- In the Filters field, type
now.
- Check the box at the top-left to select all links.
- From the Copy dropdown, select URLs.
- Paste the URLs into this site’s text field and click Generate.
Setting Up the Script
- Open any YouTube video and maximize the browser window (not full screen).
- With Mouse Coordinates, hover over the down arrow next to “Transcript & Summary” → press c.
- Open
transcript_grabber.ahk in a text editor → paste those coordinates into Point 1.
- Go back to YouTube → click the dropdown → hover over the clipboard icon → press c → paste into Point 2 of the script.
- Save the script, exit, and uninstall the Mouse Coordinates extension.
- Run the script by double-clicking it.
Capturing Transcripts
- Create a new empty text file in any folder and open to.
- Return directly to your browser (don’t open other apps).
If you accidentally do, reopen your text editor, then return to the browser.
- Click Ready → press Ctrl+Alt+S.
Wait until all transcripts are copied — don’t touch anything.
- When finished, press Ctrl+Alt+P.
- Go to your text editor → press Ctrl+S to save a backup.
Do not undo or edit until saved, or you may lose everything.
Final Step
- Open wordcounter.io.
- Split your transcript file into 500,000-word chunks for NotebookLM.
Paste YouTube URLs
- Go to your documents folder, open the AutoHotkey folder, and run the transcript_grabber.ahk script.
- Important: Open a blank text editor file, then go directly back to this website.
- Click the button when you are ready.
Press Ctrl+Alt+S to begin the automation.
