Setup & Collecting Links

  1. Download everything listed above.
  2. Go to the target YouTube channel → open the Videos tab → scroll to the bottom until all videos load.
  3. Open the Link Grabber extension:
    • Select Page
    • Click Grab All!
  4. In the Filters field, type now.
  5. Check the box at the top-left to select all links.
  6. From the Copy dropdown, select URLs.
  7. Paste the URLs into this site’s text field and click Generate.

Setting Up the Script

  1. Open any YouTube video and maximize the browser window (not full screen).
  2. With Mouse Coordinates, hover over the down arrow next to “Transcript & Summary” → press c.
  3. Open transcript_grabber.ahk in a text editor → paste those coordinates into Point 1.
  4. Go back to YouTube → click the dropdown → hover over the clipboard icon → press c → paste into Point 2 of the script.
  5. Save the script, exit, and uninstall the Mouse Coordinates extension.
  6. Run the script by double-clicking it.

Capturing Transcripts

  1. Create a new empty text file in any folder and open to.
  2. Return directly to your browser (don’t open other apps).
    If you accidentally do, reopen your text editor, then return to the browser.
  3. Click Ready → press Ctrl+Alt+S.
    Wait until all transcripts are copied — don’t touch anything.
  4. When finished, press Ctrl+Alt+P.
  5. Go to your text editor → press Ctrl+S to save a backup.
    Do not undo or edit until saved, or you may lose everything.

Final Step

  1. Open wordcounter.io.
  2. Split your transcript file into 500,000-word chunks for NotebookLM.

Paste YouTube URLs


  1. Go to your documents folder, open the AutoHotkey folder, and run the transcript_grabber.ahk script.
  2. Important: Open a blank text editor file, then go directly back to this website.
  3. Click the button when you are ready.
